Terms of Service
Effective date: August 28, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Ocular Software LLC ("Ocular", "we", "us") covering your use of the Ocular review monitoring service at joinocular.com and app.joinocular.com. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Ocular monitors publicly available reviews for the business pages you connect, analyzes them, and notifies you based on your settings. Ocular reads public pages only; it does not access, post to, or manage your accounts on Google, Yelp, Facebook, or any other platform. Review content belongs to its authors and the platforms that host it; Ocular displays it to you for monitoring purposes.
Accounts
You sign in with single-use login links sent to your email address, which is your account identity. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure and for activity under your account. You must be authorized to act for the business or clients whose pages you monitor.
Plans and billing
The Free plan includes one account monitor with Google reviews and 30 days of review history. The Professional plan costs $2.99 per month for each monitor slot and includes all supported platforms, unlimited history, and configurable alerts. Billing is handled by Stripe. You can add or remove monitor slots at any time; charges are prorated by Stripe. If a subscription lapses or covers fewer slots than you use, monitoring is paused rather than your data deleted.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- resell or redistribute the service or collected data outside your business or your agency's client engagements;
- use the service to harass review authors or to violate a review platform's rights;
- probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or access it by any means other than the provided interfaces.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". Review platforms change without notice, and collection from public pages can be delayed or incomplete; we do not guarantee that every review is captured or that analysis is error-free. Alerts are a convenience, not a guarantee of timely notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ocular's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Ocular and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, your account data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; for material changes we will update the effective date above and notify active accounts by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions? Contact support@joinocular.com.
